If you’re a fan of classic American trucks, then you’ll be excited about Squarebody Syndicate’s latest build. Joe Yezzi and Rob Yezzi, two avid truck enthusiasts, definitely are. After a wild weekend at LSFest West, the pair started brainstorming their next build, and they came up with a crazy idea: to slam a military CUCV M1009 and smoke the tires around the track. But finding the perfect vehicle proved to be a challenge. That is until they stumbled upon Jack’s Military Surplus in Tucson, AZ. Read on to find out how this epic build came to be.

Rob and Joe scoured the market and searched through military vehicle groups on Facebook, but none of the options they found were quite right. Everything was either too rough or too rusty. But then Joe remembered Jack’s Military Surplus and decided to take a trip to Tucson, AZ, with Ray Reyes to see what they could find.

Upon arrival, Jack greeted them with a smile and showed Joe and Ray around the seven acres of vintage military vehicles. Joe was impressed with Jack’s extensive collection, and the two immediately hit it off. When they found the perfect M1009 buried deep in the field, Joe knew he had struck gold.

After leaving a deposit, Jack had everything ready for them a few days later. When they returned to pick up the truck, Rob had to see Jack’s collection for himself. That’s when they got a closer look at their new build, and the excellent condition and super-low original miles blew them away.
Now, the pair plan to give this little ripper the ultimate makeover. They’re going to slam it and add their unique touch to make it truly one-of-a-kind. They can’t wait to see the look on everyone’s faces when they smoke the tires around the track in this beast.
If you’re a fan of the Blazer or Jimmy K5, Joe and Rob’s Military CUCV M1009 will take this build to the next level. We can’t wait to see what they come up with and witness this Blazer in action. Stay tuned for updates on their progress!
